PrideStaff North Dallas loves giving back to our community whether that is through donating, volunteering or packing backpacks full of school supplies for kids! Last week, we were able to pack backpacks to donate to the Genesis Women’s Shelter!
We packed over a dozen backpacks and donated over $200 to the shelter! This donation gets the shelter one step closer to providing:
- A Children’s Trauma Counseling Center with expanded services designed specifically to heal the trauma of domestic violence experienced by children.
- A Legal Justice Center & Family Law Library to expedite civil legal proceedings that restore safety to women and their children.
- The Tech Command Center that will offer text, chat and virtual services to women experiencing abuse at home.
- The Genesis Institute for Training & Education to advance the study and treatment of domestic violence.
- Expanded clinical counseling that will double the number of women and children they can serve.
- All of these services offered in one place that is designed specifically for people who have experienced the trauma of domestic violence.
