From Recruiting Assistant to Strategic Partner

Julie Vicic is a Strategic Partner at PrideStaff Dallas, leading the team alongside co-owner Amy Linn. Her focus is building and retaining a team of top performers who deliver a high-touch experience for every client and candidate.

Julie’s PrideStaff journey started at the beginning. She joined as a Recruiting Assistant and quickly moved up to Branch Manager. When she shared her goal of launching her own PrideStaff location, Amy suggested they join forces instead. Julie became a Strategic Partner in 2007, and together they’ve built an award-winning team serving North Texas for over two decades.

What keeps Julie in this industry? The people. From her perspective, you’re not just a client or candidate, you’re a person with your own goals. She looks for ways to provide not just great talent, but also resources, solutions, and insight that lead to real success. That approach has built partnerships that have lasted through multiple career transitions on both sides.

Julie is a Texas A&M graduate, where she met her husband and closest circle of friends. Outside of work, she’s usually at a high school football game, baseball tournament, or golf tournament with her two teenage sons. Her family loves escaping to the Texas coast for fishing, kayaking, and shelling. Julie also enjoys cooking comfort food for friends and family, and recently picked up painting.
