About Gaby

From Human Resources in Mexico to Recruiting in Dallas

My name is Claudia Gonzalez-Aguilar, but I go by Gaby. I was born in Mexico, and I have a degree in Business Administration. During my time in college I fell in love with HR, which is why I chose to do my internship in the Human Resources department of a college. After that, I had the opportunity to work at a bank, and then for INEGI and the INE, both of which are governmental organizations. The first is in charge of the census, and the second is in charge of the elections. After I relocated, I started a new job at a college as a school administrator, where my duties varied widely. My favorite was serving as the HR link between my campus and the main campus. I had the opportunity to act as a recruiter, help with the onboarding process for new employees, keep records and personnel files, and more. In all of these roles I had the chance to work very closely with many people, and that only confirmed how passionate I am about HR. Then, in a sudden change of course, I met my soulmate in a different country from mine, and to make it work I had to relocate to the States. After going through that process and ready to work again, I knew it had to be in a place, and a position, where I could use my experience and do what I love most, helping people. When she isn’t in the office, you’ll find Gaby and her husband gaming or out on a hike.
