Compensation: $65,000 to $70,000
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

About This Opportunity

Are you the kind of person who keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes? Our Garland client needs a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to sit at the intersection of field operations, vendors, and finance. You’ll be the glue that keeps construction projects moving, building purchase orders, managing change orders, tracking deliveries, and reporting up to the CFO function. • Partner with finance leadership to keep project documentation buttoned up

What You Need

  • Construction industry fluency, including familiarity with subcontracts, change orders, and project lifecycles (REQUIRED)
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, IF Functions), not just a basic user

  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple project timelines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Why Apply: Direct line to senior leadership, professional and collaborative team culture, work that genuinely keeps projects on track, temp-to-hire path to a permanent seat.

What We’re Seeing in the Dallas Job Market

Dallas-Fort Worth job growth is rebounding. After hitting a multi-year low at the end of 2025, the metro added 41,900 jobs year-over-year in January and 24,200 in February 2026 (per the Bureau of Labor Statistics). That’s two consecutive months pointing in the right direction. If you’ve been waiting on a sign that the market is turning, this is it.

Wage pressure has eased sharply. Dallas-area total compensation costs rose just 2.3% for the year ending March 2026, down from 4.4% a year earlier. Wages and salaries alone climbed only 1.8%, well below the national 3.4% rate. For job seekers, that means employers are more competitive on the right candidates. For employers, the same role often costs less to fill today than it did 12 months ago.

Professional & Business Services has flipped from losses to growth. After shedding jobs through most of 2025, this sector posted positive growth of 12,500 jobs (1.6%) in the latest data. That’s the lane that covers accounting, finance, admin, marketing, and consulting. The candidate pool that opened up over the past year is still in motion, but the window is starting to close.

Irving and Dallas County remain the most active hiring zones. Three of this edition’s four featured roles sit in Irving or Garland, and that’s no accident. Dallas County offers the most candidate availability in the metro at 4.3% unemployment, while the Dallas-Plano-Irving corridor continues to lead the volume of open roles we’re working. If you’re job searching, this is where the action is.
