Rain, rain go away! It has been pouring in North Dallas, but that has not stopped us from going out and serving our employees and clients! We are happy to share with you, the fantastic and very busy week we had!
Julie, Bree, Marissa and Stephanie attended the HR Southwest Conference 2018 in Fort Worth this past week with our Hurst, Denton and Dallas-Metro locations! We were a sponsor again this year. The turnout was amazing, with tons of fun activities and wonderful speakers! We gave away diamond stress balls and fake diamonds at the booth. Diamonds were to celebrate winning the Best of Staffing Diamond award 5 years in a row! The big winner was Melissa Whitlock with Globe Life who won the $1,000 Zales gift card from our drawing! Opening keynote speaker was none other than an Astronaut! Captain Scott Kelly inspired all attendees to dream big and choose to do the hard things!
We also had some wonderful things to celebrate this week! This past Tuesday was National Boss’s Day, so we were excited to celebrate Julie and Amy who have done a phenomenal job with making PrideStaff North Dallas what it is today! They are so inspiring and we are all so grateful for them both!
Another person we are extremely grateful for is Stephanie Wallick, who has now been on the PrideStaff team for 14 years now! She has been a ray of sunshine to our team and a great leader! Thank you Stephanie!!!
One of our favorite things to do would probably have to be congratulating our employees on accepting permanent positions, and we were able to congratulate two very amazing people this week! Shondell Lewis accepted a permanent offer with BSN Sports, and Felicia Johnson accepted a role with one of our clients in Frisco! Congratulations to them both!
