PrideStaff Gives Back

About a month ago, PrideStaff was able to donate two large baskets with yummy goodies to JUNITY! JUNITY stands for “Juveniles United Now, Intentionally Transforming Youth”. They have a team of volunteers that go out and mentor to the young boys and girls detained at the Collin County Juvenile Detention Center in North Texas.

JUNITY was actually created by one of our employees, Alisha Johnson. She reached out to us to see if we were able to give towards the fundraiser they recently put on at the end of July. And we were on it!!! We put together two huge baskets with Trader Joe’s snacks and over $200 in gift cards!

The baskets were given to two of JUNITY’s hardest working volunteers. The first basket went to Mr. Larry Barnes who has mentored the boys at the juvenile detention center for over a year. The second basket went to Mrs. Bevae Wynn who has mentored the girls for two years now. They both volunteer faithfully every week. We think it is safe to say that they deserved those baskets! PrideStaff is happy to have been able to help with the fundraiser and if you are feeling compelled to give as well, go to wearejunity.org. Your donations make it possible for them to provide toiletries, books and training materials for the juveniles in jail, as well as clothing, shoes, and food for youth released from jail. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! Below are a few pictures from the fundraiser!
