PrideStaff Goes Pink to Knock Out Breast Cancer

The phrase “knock out” took on a whole new meaning during the months of September and October with PrideStaff North Dallas. From bake sales to office competitions, the PrideStaff team spent weeks raising funds and awareness to knock out breast cancer with Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

PrideStaff’s 2015 race team donated $15,000 of temporary employee help to the Komen Dallas County affiliate, and raised over $2,500 in donations for the cure. On October 17th the PrideStaff team joined over 15,000 participants in the 5k Race for the Cure. More than $1 million is expected to be raised from this year’s Komen Dallas race.

As one of the largest women owned companies in North Texas, PrideStaff North Dallas feels a special tie to the Susan G. Komen organization:

“We are blessed to have several inspirational women in this community. Having the privilege to work with Susan G. Komen for the Cure as a staffing partner for several years now, we see the difference they make for women first hand. Our team has always been committed to giving back, and that is why we began organizing race teams over a decade ago. Each year it is an honor to be a sponsor and ambassador for this meaningful cause.”  –Amy Linn
